      Perennial suburban frat boy Dave Barry holds forth once again, this time on that most banal of topics, the American Guy. Johnny Heller tries manfully to bring out the best in this diatribe on why guys are different, but the joke becomes strained when maintained over four hours. Barry does attain comedic heights, but all too often this is sitcom humor, breaking no new ground, but perhaps achieving a certain gain in further exposing the dull and puerile, and possibly loveable, species of the guy.
