The emphasis is on creating a customer-focused and collaborative organizational model that will invite the involvement of individuals in every part and at every level of the service organization, in an effort to improve service, develop the individual and the organization while building trust. It draws from the literature of business and social sciences and relates concepts on leadership and development into the context of libraries.
